The ENFP personality type of the Myers-Briggs® Personality Type Indicator is known as the “inspirers” (also known as “the idealists”). These people typically approach life with a go-getter, enthusiastic attitude; they are complete extroverts. They exude creativity and excitement; they loathe extreme routine in all settings and always bring an out-of-the-box perspective to their endeavors. ENFPs have many different hobbies and interests. Strengths:

The ENFP person is known for his above-average social skills. These people are outgoing, affectionate and inspirational. The extremely energized ENFP person has a magnetic personality; people want to listen to them. Highly intuitive, ENFPs have a knack for understanding others’ thoughts and emotions. Weaknesses:

As with any personality trait, too much of one thing is never good. Because ENFPs are so enthusiastic, they can be unrealistic in how many projects they can handle at once. This is not to say that this personality type cannot handle many projects at once, but there is a fine line between lots of projects and too many projects. Another typical personality trait of ENFPs is their strong dislike of routine. Since these people are always searching for the next best thing, they are easily bored and will try to avoid tedious tasks so they can focus on more exciting projects. ENFPs are also very sensitive to criticism and tend to hide from conflict.

ENFPs make excellent lovers and friends. They are loyal and trustworthy partners with a strong will to maintain relationships. They are known to keep relationships interesting; they make sure their partner is always on their toes. However, they love nothing more than making their partner happy.
