Don't you wish there was a pause button for life when things get out of hand? Whether it be deadline after deadline or meetings after meetings, life ain't easy. With all of the millions of things to do on your plate, you might feel like it is impossible to take a break. But, a break is exactly what you need.

So, how do you get out of this negativity bubble? You stop everything. Even if you're in the middle of something, you just have to stop. Being in such a negative space isn't conducive to accomplishing anything well. You might as well stop, take a breather, and come back to it with a refreshed mind.

Just set aside at least 10 minutes a day where you can just observe your thoughts and anxieties. Try to quiet your mind and get in tune with what and how you are feeling. Just focus on the present and nothing else. These 10 minutes are all about you and not what you did wrong 5 minutes ago or what you have to finish in an hour. This is your time where the only thing that matters is you.
